We are seeking a Dispute Resolution Specialist for our Personal Tax Group in Albany, NY (Colonie location). This position will involve income tax audit representation for senior level corporate executives before various federal and state agencies.
Qualifications:
? 3 years tax compliance and 1 year dispute resolution and/or audit representation experience;
? Ideal candidate would have experience with a state tax authority and/or IRS;
? CPA, JD or Enrolled Agent required;
? Superior oral and written communication skills;
? Multi-tasking capabilities with ability to deal with changing and rolling deadlines.
Responsibilities:
? Analysis and review of client data and tax returns;
? Research and resolution of complex audit issues;
? Regular contact with tax authority counterparts, attorneys, clients and Ayco internal staff;
? Negotiation of audit settlements.
