Dynamic Construction Company Needs an Accounting Manager

CONSTRUCTION ACCOUNTING MANAGER - To US $100,000 plus benefits package My client is a leading Construction group serving the NY area. They are based in New Rochelle  and looking to recruit a new Accounting Manager, reporting to the Director of Accounting covering the following:-
Prepare the monthly financial statements.
Prepare monthly job cost reports for distribution to the Project Manager.
Assist and implement the annual budgeting process for the Co.
Assist Director of Accounting in the maintenance and creation of all company Timberline reports. Manage and direct the accounts payable function for the group.
Assist in the annual audit process Enter job and cash receipts into the Timberline system.
Prepare and update the Contract Receivable Report for senior management
Prepare monthly billings to various joint venture/affiliated partners and associated schedules.
Manage and direct the office and field payroll functions.
Ensure timely payroll tax deposits are sent or to the appropriate tax jurisdictions- federal and state.
Manage the monthly, quarterly and year-end payroll tax returns- federal, state & unemployment returns.
Prepare all journal entries, account analyses, and reconciliation?s necessary to close books.
Review all change orders, back charges and estimate changes posted into the Timberline system.

 

Requirements:

5-10yrs experience in an accounting department
Degree in accounting

Previous management experience
