Dynamic Controller for High-Tech Company

Our customer is seeking a hands-on Controller for an immediate Interim opportunity. The responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following areas:

 Manage the accounting function and ensure the accounting records and reports are in compliance with GAAP.

Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, annual and periodic financial statements and reports. Provide accurate and timely information to senior management.



Develop and improve policies, procedures and internal controls.



Manage payroll and benefit administration.



Manage the quarterly review and annual audit and work closely with external auditors.



Coordinate tax reporting requirements and work with external accountants to file corporate income tax returns and other tax related projects.



Implement and maintain processes for compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley Act.



Assist with preparation for an initial public offering.



Provide leadership to accounting personnel and ensure training and development needs are met.



 

Requirements:Excellent leadership and human relations abilities.

Able to organize, coordinate, and direct projects.



Strong oral and written communication abilities.



Solid analytical and technical skills. Able to use all related hardware and software.Bachelor?s degree in accounting, business or related field.

 

Prefer:CPA5 years experience with Big 4 accounting firm

10+ years experience in the accounting field



Strong technical GAAP foundation, public company/SEC, software revenue recognition, and SOX experience strongly preferred.
