We offer valuable local experience with a national perspective. We're the largest state and local tax practice in the United States, with over 1,000 dedicated professionals who can identify, resolve, and implement solutions to your complex state and local tax issues. Our practice saves taxes on current filings, recover cash related to obscure provisions and optimize benefits related to state and local matters through our extensive service offerings. These include State Tax Controversies, Credits & Incentives, Income & Franchise Tax, Property Tax, Sales & Use Tax, Total State Tax Solutions, and Unclaimed Property.
Experienced Tax Staff are responsible for providing tax research and analysis for clients in diverse industries, preparation of tax returns and for keeping up-to-date on
current tax practices and technical issues. Tax Staff should demonstrate a good understanding and working knowledge of the client's business and tax systems, take responsibility for clearing open items relating to assigned areas, and for meeting client deadlines.
Tax Staff effectively communicate difficulties in a timely fashion and are able to identify and communicate issues that require the immediate attention of the Senior or others on the engagement team.? They also actively participate in decision making.?
Experienced Staff must have:
??Minimum of one or more years experience in preparing and reviewing client work papers and income tax returns.?
??Strong research, written, and verbal communication skills
??Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or other business related field
??Prior Big 4 and/or law firm experience a plus
