DEPARTMENT ACTIVITIES COORDINATOR

The Education Activities Coordinator will assist the Director of Sales Support in ensuring effective transfer of information to and from the Field Staff in conjunction with the smooth operation of the Department, concentrating on compensation payments to Advisors.

 

Primary responsibilites include:checking for accuracy, assigning budget codes and approving for payment on all expense reports.  Acts as liaison between Advisors and Financial Department.maintaining Advisor expense report records.creating and preparing accurate reports utilizing Access database information.  Identify budget variances.  Distribute reports accordingly.gathering a rolling 3-month report and auditing against expenses to determine if expenses were pre-approved prior to expense payment authorization.maintaining a list of active Advisors and professional license expiration dates.  assisting with training program preparation.collecting training expensesacting as departmental contact with Education Sales Manager and Advisors.maintaining departmental databases and records.processing mail to Field Staff.providing back-up support to switchboard/receptionist.

 

 

Requirements:High school graduate, with AA degree preferred.Exceptional computer skills including Access and Excel.Excellent accounting and organizational skills.Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.Background in manufacturing/operations environment a plus.
