EXPERIENCED FULL CHARGE BOOKKEEPER

A well respected privately held sales and service company seeks a solid detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper. Qualified candidate must have strong knowledge of general accounting principles.  Position is responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable, recurring billing, bank and account reconciliations, month-end close and financial statement preparation.

Duties & Responsibilities
This position reports to the General Manager and conducts the following activities in an accurate timely fashion:

*Full charge of all accounting transactions including GL, AR, AP

*Daily Banking and postings
*Processing Payroll and associated taxes
*Month End and Year End Close
*Financial Statements preparation
*Review accounts receivable aging and follow up to ensure timely collection.
*Work with CPA in preparation of income taxes
*Maintain employee payroll files, time cards, benefits, vacation and time off tracking
*Bank Reconciliation of all bank accounts
*Track and maintain Fixed assets report

*Plus various non-accounting duties as needed to assist the GM 



Requirement:
*BS degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalent
*Qualified candidate must have 3 years of hands on experience in manufacturing accounting
* Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
* Flexible, with a ?can-do? attitude.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
* Attention to detail, reliably accurate.
* Ability to prioritize in order to complete tasks on a timely basis.
*Technical and comprehensive knowledge of all accounting functional areas. 
*Excellent time management, communications, decision-making, presentation, human relations, and organization skills
*Experienced and comfortable working within a small, fast-paced company environment

 

 

Office environment is casual but fast paced. A good sense of humor is helpful.

Candidate must be able to work with minimum of supervision and must be self motivated, detail oriented, and HIGHLY ORGANIZED.
