Deloitte Tax LLP is currently looking for an experienced senior or manager level consultant for the Employee Benefits Tax Group of our Los Angeles, CA office.
?
Projects will primarily involve employee benefits due diligence and preparation of executive golden parachute tax calculations in mergers and acquisition transactions.? You will also be involved in providing tax consulting advice regarding
equity-based compensation arrangements, including implementation of FAS 123(R).?
?
In addition, you will be responsible for supervising preparation of government filings, performing tax reviews for qualified retirement plans and welfare benefit plans, and researching and drafting memos on various employee benefit tax issues

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS
- 3 - 6 years of experience, highly preferred with Big 4 or benefits consulting firm
- Bachelor's degree required, preferred in accounting, finance, or other business related field
- Proficiency in use of Microsoft Excel
- Excellent quantitative, analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must demonstrate ability to manage multiple projects, deliver timely and accurate work products with client service focus, and respond with a sense of urgency to client needs
- J.D., CPA, or CEBS certification preferred
