Position Overview:

The Engagement Manager is responsible for supporting the Practice Manager in the overall growth and management of the Practice in the local office. The Engagement Manager is responsible for all aspects of client project management, including project planning, project strategy, and project fulfillment. The Engagement Manager will also assist in business development, business planning, opportunity identification, qualification, developing solutions, and closing engagements. Manage and develop successful consultants and consultant teams.

Qualifications:

o Big 4 or consulting industry staff/project management experience required
o Demonstrated business development aptitude and desire with strong presentation skills
o Demonstrated history of project management experience, including project planning and strategy development
o Consulting experience with a recognized professional services organization
o Proven leadership ability
o Skilled in team building and team development
o PC literate, including experience in using software for producing presentations, spreadsheets, and project planning (skilled in MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, and MS Project and Visio)
o College degree required; MBA and/or professional certification preferred
o Personable with outstanding written and verbal communication skills
o Ability to analyze financial opportunities and mitigate risk
oExperience in the Strategic finance and in the Governance & Risk Management sectors. We are looking for a candidate with strong IT SOX, process improvement, re engineering, external reporting, budgeting/forecasting, consolidation reporting, Hyperion and formulating.
