Engineering Accounts Receivable Clerk

Job Title: Accounts Receivable Clerk

 

Reports to: Office Manager

 

Primary Responsibilities:

Performs accounts receivable activities in an engineering environment, using electronic project management software.  Responsibilities include invoicing, reconciliations, aging review and maintenance, light collections, resolving customer inquires, reviewing contract agreements and project setup terms, other clerical duties involving the accounts receivable department.



Skills and/or characteristics required:Minimum three years of accounts receivable experience, preferably in Engineering, Architecture or related professional service industry. Understanding of job costing, unbilled expenses and general accounting procedures.Use of independent judgment and initiative based on familiarity with the organization and accounting practices and procedures.Works under general supervision, maintaining scheduled deadlines. Maintains confidentiality of all company records.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Accuracy is imperative.Proficient computer skills in Deltek Vision job costing, Excel, MS Word, and Expedition software.Professional demeanor.
