Enterprise Architect

The BearingPoint Public Services Management Consulting Solutions Group is currently searching for a Senior Consultant with the ability to work at the interface between IT and the business, translating IT into terms that the business can use and vice-versa. Will be responsible for analyzing business operations including process, organization, performance and technology. They will plan the migration from the current state, identify and mitigate risk associated with transition, and may manage the transition work through to completion. Oversee system development life cycle activities and coordinate them with the successful implementation of the architecture.

Project Activities
- Responsible for the creation and maintenance of the high level Business Architecture and Key Performance measures
- Conducting an assessment of the project's business architecture, process and performances;
- Recommendation changes to improve operational performance;
- Ensuring consistency and integration with the organization's and government architectures and business strategies;
- Evaluating the feasibility of the architecture and technologies related to a business change;
- Identify risks associated with the architecture and technologies and recommending risk mitigation;
- Advising Senior Management on trends and emerging technologies and their impact on the organization's and government architectures and business strategies;
- Recommending alternative solutions, methodologies and strategies;
- Assisting in the prioritization and assignment of architectural improvements;
- Developing and/or implementing architectural improvement plans;
- Managing the development and implementation of an architectural improvement plan;

- Business Process Modeling (BPM)
- Knowledge and practical experience in full systems development life cycle and methodologies.
- Knowledge of SDLC, Business Strategy development, and EA frameworks, including FEA, FEAF or Zachmann.
- CMM or CMM-I experience
- Knowledge of automated architecture tools such as Popkin System Architect
