Enterprise Risk Analyst

Job Description: The person selected for this position will serve on the Special Projects and Reporting team within Enterprise Risk Management (ERM). The analyst creates sophisticated internal and external reports to assist ERM in managing operational risk for one of the largest credit card companies in North America. The analyst may also create internal ERM databases and will serve as liaison and change manager for risk management software in use by the department. The analyst will work under supervision with all levels of management and peers throughout the company.



This is a high visibility position with opportunity for advancement after a one-year commitment.

Job Experience:
The applicant should have:

Advanced skills in MS Office, including PowerPoint, Access, and Excel and sufficient Visual Basic to create advanced Excel and Access projects. Ability to create advanced charts using Office programs. Basic skills in VISIO.

Ability to learn operational risk software to make entries and act as liaison to database administrators.

Ability to work independently and under supervision as an active member of a team, meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to make decisions within the framework of Enterprise Risk Management policies and procedures.

Sufficient knowledge of statistical analysis to collaborate on risk measurements, including standard deviations, and advise on which type of measurement is best to reflect a given set of data.

Excellent communications skills.
