Enterprise Risk Services Manager

SLGG is currently seeking an experienced, high-energy Manager for our Enterprise Risk Services Department who will be responsible for managing multiple client engagements and other risk service activities.  This professional will manage other professionals and assist our clients in employing proper information systems, resources and controls to minimize financial audit risk.  The successful candidate will work with clients to analyze, evaluate and enhance information systems facilitating the business internal control process for the financial audit and other services.

The successful candidate will work with a team of auditors and the client to create plans for accomplishing engagement objectives and a strategy that complies with professional standards and addresses the risks inherent in the engagement; brief the audit team on the client's IT environment and industry trends; and maintain relationships with client management to manage expectations of service, including work products, timing, and the value to be delivered.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate a thorough understanding of complex information systems and apply it to client situations as well as use extensive knowledge of the client's business/industry to identify technological developments and evaluate impacts on the client's business.  Must also demonstrate excellent project management skills, inspire teamwork and responsibility with engagement team members, and use current technology/tools to enhance the effectiveness of deliverable and services.

Candidates are required to have at least five (5) years experience in public accounting or particularized experience in systems/technology to meet special needs, with all experience demonstrating a progression in complexity, scope, and number of engagements managed; a demonstrated interest to bring new business to the Firm; a Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting, business, finance, computer science, information systems, engineering or other related major; proficiency in use of computers and computer software programs; advanced written and verbal communication skills, excellent leadership and teamwork skills, demonstrated integrity within a professional environment, and a current and valid CPA license in good standing or be actively pursuing related professional certifications.

Managers are expected to be available for frequent same-day travel using a personal vehicle; occasional out-of-town travel (with overnight stay) for work at Clients' offices, and occasional overtime work.
