Entry Level Staff Accountant

Job Purpose:

Accounting Professional to provide financial information by maintaining and reconciling accounts; preparing reports & handling general accounting functions.



Duties:

* Cash Application & collections

 

* Reconciles general bank statements & accounts by gathering and balancing information.

* Provides financial status information by preparing special reports; completing special projects.

* Processes the monthly adjusting journal entries.

* Maintains reconciliation of Balance Sheet accounts & related P & L accounts such as: accounts receivable, prepaids; analyzing and preparing fixed asset depreciation and accruals.

* Maintains inventory cycle counting activities. 


* Assist with preparation of the monthly financial statements & various financial analysis and ad hoc reporting.


* Accomplishes accounting and organization missions by completing related results as needed.



Skills/Qualifications:

Accounting degree preferred, Minimum of 2 years experience in an automated accounting environment,  MS Excel, MS Word, Deadline-Oriented, Reporting Skills, Attention to Detail, Confidentiality, Thoroughness, Quality Focus, Objectivity.
