Entry-level Mutual Fund Accountant

Requires a bachelors degree in accounting, finance, economics, or business equivalent experience. Would prefer to have 2 to 5 years accounting expierence; background in fund accounting is preferred but not required.

Maintains records of routine accounting transactions. Assists in preparation of financial and operating reports including trial balances, adjustments and closing entries. May assist in analysis and interpretation of accounting records for use by management. This key position is responsible for daily fund accounting, accounts payable, and department projects. This position requires the ability to work in a team enviroment. Requires a bachelors degree in accounting, finance, economics, or business equivalent experience. Would prefer to have 2 to 5 years accounting expierence; background in fund accounting is preferred but not required. The ideal candidate will have the ability to pay strong attention to detail, have a high level of accuracy, & have both solid analytical and organizational skills. Candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, & Outlook.
