Entry to Junior-Level Staff Accountant

We currently have a great opportunity for a highly motivated Entry to Junior-Level Staff Accountant to join our Stamford, CT office. This position will report directly to the Controller and will involve a variety of general accounting functions, including but not limited to the following:

 

?  Preparation of account analysis, including analyzing trends, reconciliations and journal entries.

?  Bank Reconciliations.

?  Assist in the preparation of month end close.

?  Review general ledger coding of the accounts payable.

?  Assist with the monthly forecasts.

?  Support accounting staff in executing special projects as required.

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

 



? BS/BA Degree in Accounting or Finance.

? 0-2 years of experience in accounting.

? Have an understanding of generally accepted accounting principles.

? Good written and oral communication skills.

? Ability to work independently and multitask.

? Superior organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills.

? Strong computer skills, proficiency with Excel and Word
