Exciting opportunity within the travel industry

Well-known travel industry company seeks Manager of Tout Cost and Analysis for Connecticut based position. The position will be responsible for the analysis and reporting of cost variances and the accuracy of tour cost payments. Will supervise a team of 2 to 4 that has the overall responsibility for the timely and accurate payment of domestic and international Tour Suppliers that include hotels, cruise ships, tour sites, food venues, etc. Salary will pay up to $70K.



Responsibilities:

Review of supplier contracts and tour itineraries to insure that rates for all actives are inputted correctly.



Cost and tour variance analysis.



Review of daily inputs by Cost Coordinators.



Processing supplier payments via checks, EFT and wire transfers in US dollars and foreign currency.



Purchase orders.



Review, audit and analyze cash expenditures.



Ideal candidate should have the following:

BS in Accounting or Finance



5 years experience with financial analysis and 2 years management/supervisory experience.



Knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, Epicor, AS400 and/or Crystal reports.



Knowledge of foreign currency a plus!



Communication skills.
