Executive Director - Finance & Accounting (Pharma; Top Dollar)

Our client, a Durham-based, publicly held, pharmaceutical company that is experiencing exponential growth, is actively recruiting for a seasoned, accomplished, financial leader for key role on its management team.  This is a highly dynamic and complex environment.  Company has several marketed products and is launching several more.Revenue stream is strong, company is profitable and pipeline is rich.Rapid and intense growth has prompted need for additional leadership in Finance.  Position will report to the CFO. 

Role will involve managing a wide range of accounting, treasury and reporting functions.Selected candidate will complement assumed ability to lead routine accounting/controllership type functions with critically important value-adds including SEC reporting and investor relations, acquisition analysis, investment/cash maximization and risk management. Seek a highly entrepreneurial and profit-minded accountant who gets involved in understanding/managing the business and maximizes the Financial team's contribution to its growth. Seek a take-charge leader with a roll-up-your-sleeves work style.  One who acts as a motivator and mentor to outstanding personnel.

Selected candidate will be a CPA (no exceptions) who offers Big 4 (or 6 or 8) bkgd and 10+ years of financial management experience, including 3+ years handling SEC Reporting functions.  Seek an astute, proactive manager with a strong track record of impact.Pharmaceutical or related industry experience highly desirable.  MBA a plus.
