McGladrey?s Audit practice uses a paperless risk-based methodology that transforms the audit process from a traditional compliance-driven function to a risk-based approach by creating a framework for auditors to assess how a client's business risks affect financial statements.

Responsibilities:
? Plan and execute the day-to-day activities of audit engagements of various clients.
? Supervise the audit staff assigned to engagements, including completing their performance reviews
? Work with the audit teams to develop budgets and fee analyses
? Identify and communicate accounting and auditing issues to Managers and Partners
? Identify performance improvement opportunities
? Interact with clients to help ensure that the information flow from the client to the audit team is efficient.

Qualifications:
? Two years of current and/or recent audit experience in a public accounting firm
? Demonstrated supervisory experience
? Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
? CPA eligible in Florida.
? Applied working knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and accounting procedures
? Demonstrated experience meeting challenging client requirements and providing exceptional client service
? Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, and research skills
? Willingness to travel
? Substantive experience in auditing Financial Institutions, particularly Banks, is a significant plus, as is experience in auditing publicly owned SEC registrants.
