Financial Analyst
Job Description:
Responsible for providing financial analysis with understanding of short-term and long-term impacts to balance sheet and income statement. Partner with Production, Corporate, and General Accounting on monthly close process and forecasting. Complete analysis and reporting to evaluate financial results and present to management.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
? Analysis of financial data with an understanding of short-term and long- term impacts to balance sheet and income statement.
? Partner with Production, Corporate and General Accounting during monthly close process.
? Partner with Production and General Accounting for weekly and quarterly forecasting.
? Play an integral role in budgeting.
? Improve reporting and analytical capabilities related to revenue and cost analysis.
? Explore process improvement and automation utilizing existing technology.
? Provide ad hoc financial modeling and analysis.
? Partner with Production and Corporate on Capital Acquisitions analysis and tracking.
Qualifications:
? Bachelor?s degree required, preferably in accounting. CPA Preferred.
? Cost accounting background a plus
? A minimum of two years of business, finance or accounting related experience.
? Strong problem solving skills to analyze and interpret complex data.
? Strong technical skills with high proficiency with Excel for analysis. Experience with JD Edwards a plus.
? Good analytical and communication skills.
