FINANCIAL ANALYST I

We are currently seeking a self-motivated individual to fill an open financial analyst position in the Reading, PA manufacturing facility. Financial analysis and management support includes material and labor related manufacturing variances, purchase price variances, spending, forecasting and planning. A primary responsibility of this position is reviewing, monitoring and auditing inventory accuracy and ensuring proper controls are in place. This position has oversight for maintaining strong internal controls and policy compliance. Individual will work closely with manufacturing management, material procurement, logistics, engineering and quality.

Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and 3 - 5 years experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred. Individual must have a working knowledge of cost accounting and analytical concepts. Good cross functional communication skills are necessary. Must be proficient in spreadsheet software and knowledge of MRP systems is a plus. Candidate must be flexible and a self starter with the ability to multi-task and work independently. The preferred candidate should possess a good understanding of general accounting principals, management accounting and standard cost concepts, auditing and internal controls.
