FINANCIAL REPORTING MANAGER

 

Savers, Inc. is currently seeking a Financial Reporting Manager at our Corporate Office located in Bellevue, Washington.  This team member will be responsible for the supervision of the Company?s financial reporting, including operational and financial statement preparation, analysis and review.

Qualifications:

?Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field

?5 years experience in an automated G/L environment

?CPA required

?2+ years in a supervisory experience

? International accounting experience (FAS 133, hedge accounting, statement translation (ie. CTA), fx gain/loss)

? Working knowledge of financial databases and systems

? Proven and demonstrated use and interpretation of GAAP

? FRX experience desired or experience with other financial reporting software (Cognos, Hyperion)

? Great Plains experience or similar tier of software

? Consolidation experience required

? Strong oral and written communication skills

? Must be able to multi-task in a deadline driven environment

?Lotus 123 & Microsoft Office products including Excel/Access experience (intermediate)

?Some Travel Required

 

Responsibilities:

?Supervises and trains Accounting staff

?Primarily responsible for management reporting including consolidated financial reporting

?Responsible for Intercompany and International Exchange Accounting

?Assists in FAS 109 and APB 23 reporting

?Coordinates the production of financial statements and coordinates operational reporting for internal and external customers

?Participates in monthly financial statement review

?Advise and develop accounting procedures and practices to meet business needs and public reporting standards

?Researches and answers general accounting questions

?Reconciles selected general ledger accounts and reviews the reconciliations of all others

?Assists in administering annual audit
