Federal Internal Audit- Sr. Associate

Job Description -- Internal Audit Services (IAS) offers an opportunity to broaden business skills in a rewarding and challenging environment. IAS focuses on ongoing operations to provide management with an independent assessment of business risk, internal controls, and the efficiency/adequacy of business processes. As an Internal Audit Services provider, you will work closely with our clients and PwC management in developing audit findings and recommendations regarding business process optimization, profit improvement, internal control and compliance. Assignments will be with large, high-profile companies with exposure to a wide variety of challenges and learning opportunities.

Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Internal Audit, Finance, or Business preferred. CPA, CISA, CIA or appropriate other certification is strongly preferred.

Job Requirement Essential

The ideal candidate will have 4-7 years of internal/external audit experience or business process/technology assessment and improvement experience. While audit experience is helpful, it is not required if there is a strong history of business process or technology risk assessment and improvement. At the senior associate level, individuals must be able to demonstrate these same skills as well as the ability to coach/mentor associates and the ability to communicate well with engagement management. Senior associate must be able to demonstrate these same skills as well as the ability to balance multiple commitments and engagements. Must be able to demonstrate a history of client satisfaction and strong relationship building skills. Preference will be given to candidates with proven industry skills (government contracting, healthcare insurance, hospitality or technology)
Travel is a required element of this position and will vary with client demands, but, is expected to be in the 20% to 50% range.
