Finance Academy Leader

Key Role: Act as conduit between instructional design resources and finance Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) for Booz Allen. Participate in the planning, design, development, and execution of Finance Academy strategy, vision, and projects and coordinate multiple resources that span level, geography, and global operations departments to complete tasks. Garner key working relationships with Finance Academy resources, including the director and senior manager, Finance People Council (FPC), learning and development instructional designers, and identified global finance SME’s. Participate in the planning, prioritizing, and designing of project work for current and future phases of the Academy. Work with instructional designers and finance SME’s acting as a bridge between the finance content and the instructional design and assist in facilitating or providing logistical support during the execution phase of courses when appropriate. Develop presentations for senior management and the FPC and maintain the current curriculum, Finance Academy mailbox, transcript updates, and balanced scorecard reporting requirements. Work with outside vendors when necessary to develop courseware and assist with management of the budget. This role could be located in Parsippany, NJ or McLean, VA.



Functional/Industry Knowledge:


-2 years of experience with Booz Allen finance


-Experience with presenting to large groups or senior management


-Knowledge of Booz Allen financial terminology


-Knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint


-Ability to be a confident self-starter responsive to stretch opportunities


-Ability to travel


-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills


 


Education/Certifications or equivalent required:


BA or BS degree in Accounting or Finance required; MBA degree preferred
