Finance Manager ? Automotive Market ? Livermore, CA (#06042)
We are currently seeking a Finance Manager for our Livermore, CA location to support our automotive market. As a Finance Manger, you will:
? Support operations groups by providing financial reporting and analysis
? Manage and drive annual budgeting process
? Review operating group financials during monthly lose process
? Interpret monthly financial performance
? Monitor adherence to budget
? Contribute to sales incentive compensation planning process, report on monthly sales performance, and perform monthly sales incentive payout calculations
Responsibilities:
? Report and interpret the company?s financial performance
? Report key financial metrics and evaluate trends
? Prepare presentations for reviews with senior management and investors
? Work with management to develop budgets, monitor adherence to budgets, and understand variances
? Gather, evaluate, and summarize recommendations for financial plans, future resource requirements, operating forecasts, acquisition activity, etc.
? Perform scenario analysis, sensitivity analysis, and comparative benchmarking analysis
Education & Experience:
? BS/BA - major in finance or accounting is preferred
? 7-10 years of work experience - in financial or data analysis role preferred
? Ability to work and communicate professionally and effectively with others at all levels of the organization - both in finance and in operations
? Ability to work independently or as part of a team
? Expertise in working with Microsoft Excel; proficiency with Microsoft Access
? Demonstrated experience using Excel to build and maintain financial models as well as perform financial analysis
? Experience using financial/accounting software applications to query data, build budgets, and report financials; Oracle, OFA, and Discoverer experience preferred
? PowerPoint/presentation software skills preferred
? Proven track record of taking initiative, producing quality work, and meeting tight deadlines
? Demonstrated ability to solve problems, determine appropriate actions, and complete projects with little direction
? General knowledge of accounting policies and procedures
