Finance Operations Professional

The Fin Ops Professional is responsible for performing services for client engagements on-site as assigned. Research & consult on various finance & acctg areas.

Responsibilities: account reconciliation, business intelligence strategy & implementation, business performance report development, cash flow optimization, data cleansing & modeling, financial process improvement & policies & procedures development. This position is responsible for remaining professional at all times including confidentiality, accountability, & performance of quality work within deadlines; follow engagement methodologies; complete projects as assigned & maintain a certain level of utilization; & target to record 45 client-billable hours each week.

Bachelor's degree in accounting &/or Finance;
Minimum 7 years experience in the general area of accounting services including a mix of public accounting (Big 4), consulting &/or industry experience (Controller, Financial Analyst); Broad understanding of processes & activities that occur within Accounting & Finance function of a public & private company as well as consulting & compliance expertise; Deep understanding of at least one particular expertise (e.g. Accounts Payable, Treasury, Lease Accounting, etc); Strong familiarity with SEC regulations & FASB pronouncements preferred; Strong communication & customer service skills; & MBA & CPA, CMA preferred.
