Sr. Accountant

Education:??????

-????????????????????? BA/BS Degree

-????????????????????? CPA preferred but not required

-????????????????????? MBA a plus

?

Experience:

-????????????????????? 6 to 8 years progressive accounting experience.? Experience must include the following types of work:

o??????? GL Reconciliations

o??????? Cash flow preparation and analysis

o??????? Income statement analysis

o??????? Operational and financial reporting and analysis

o??????? Bank account reconciliations

o??????? Daily cash reporting ? not required but a plus

-????????????????????? Must have experience with working with executive management levels. ?

-????????????????????? Must have the ability to present data to executive management in clear, concise and meaningful methods.

-????????????????????? Must have worked cross-functional with other departments to resolve issues, create reports and analysis and to gain an understanding of the business.

Software:

-????????????????????? Excel ? must be advanced user of excel.? Ability to create worksheets including functions to derive required analysis and reporting.

-????????????????????? Great Plains ? Knowledge of the system would be good but not required

-????????????????????? Report Writing ? Can be done in Word, Excel, Access or FRX.? Needs the ability to create management reporting that is clear, concise and meaningful.

This is a direct hire/ perm position pay is based on experience

Accounting Clerk:

?

Job Purpose:? Supports accounting operations by verifying and completing tasks related to accounts payable and payroll

?

Duties:

?

Accounts Payable:

?

Assist in various accounts payable duties including:

?

- Opening mail

?

- Coding and dating invoices

?

- Getting approvals for invoices

?

- Entering invoices into Microsoft Great Plains

?

- Researching/reconciling discrepancies?

?

- Putting back-up together for accounts payable files

?

- Filing

?

- Mailing or disbursing checks in-house

?

?

Payroll:

Assist in various payroll duties including:

- Verifying, inputting and auditing payroll data

- Compiling related reports for payroll

- Export and download payroll data from time tracking system to payroll system

- Provide backup support for time and attendance system

- Maintain and track benefits hours for employees

- Prepare, assemble, and distribute all payroll checks for bi-weekly and semi-monthly payrolls

- Prepare termination checks

- Filing

- Perform various duties/assignments as needed

This is a temp to hire position pay is $17.00 per hour
