  Kelly Services is currently recruiting for several long-term Accounting/Financial positions:

 

 

 **** Financial Specialist:  For a Human Resource/Benefit company in the Chesapeake area.

 

 Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:

   

 Utilizing MS Access to perform data audits, analysis and financial reconciliation for our Clients’ pension and/or health and welfare benefits activity;

 Preparing detailed reports, using MS Access and Excel, which represent financial and indicative data activity;

 Communicating effectively with the Client, outside auditors, vendors, and internal employees on reconciling issues and data discrepancies;

 Analyzing and monitoring outstanding reconciling items for remediation and closure;

 Facilitating the identification and remediation of our Clients’ benefit plan data issues in support of our internal Client Teams;

 Completing special projects as needed.

 

Position Qualifications:

 

 Bachelors degree in Accounting, Math, Finance, MIS or related business field;

 Two years of experience in account reconciliation, benefits administration, data processing, information systems or payroll;

 Strong attention to detail;

 Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills;

 Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization;

 MS Access experience preferred;

 Proficiency in MS Excel.

 

 

 

****Bookkeepers:  2-3  long-term positions with local companies in the Norfolk/Virginia Beach locations.

 

Job duties include but are not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, processing payroll, reporting of data, and any other general clerical duties needed at any given time. If a candidate has a degree that would be a plus.

 

The qualified individuals will need to posses:

* Minimum of 2 years experience in the accounting and/or bookkeeping field

* Computer knowledge of Mswd, Excel and Quickbooks would be a plus

* Good oral and written communication skills

* Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills

* Ability to meet deadlines and multi-task

* Ability to pick up quickly in a busy environment
