Financial Accounting Supervisor

The Financial Accounting Supervisor position has responsibilities over the accounting for payroll, benefits, compensation, and all aspects of expatriate and EIBT employees on international assignments.  The position acts as a liaison between the finance department and various HR departments and also oversees global payroll and benefit policies to ensure consistency and to provide guidance to other sites.  In addition, this position manages a team of staff accountants and participates in monthly and quarterly reviews of financial analyses and statements. As a Financial Accounting Supervisor at Micron, you will review journal entries, reconciliations, and reports prepared by staff accountants.  You will oversee all accounting for compensation and variable pay programs while providing guidance for global compensation and benefit issues.  In addition, you will oversee accounting for expatriate employees, which includes individual taxes and cross company charges.  Other responsibilities are to recruit and manage staff performance and perform other projects as necessary to meet business needs.

Qualified candidate will have strong analytical skills and high degree of attention to details along with strong communication and supervisory skills.  Candidate will be able to work independently and meet strict deadlines.  Other requirements include strong Excel and overall system skills.  A minimum 8 years accounting experience with prior supervisory experience is required.
