Financial Administrative Liaison

Ferrotec (USA) Corporation is seeking a Financial Administrative Liaison who will serve as the communication link between our Santa Clara sales office and corporate headquarters in Nashua, NH on accounting and human resources related matters.  This position requires independence, and excellent interpersonal, organizational, and administrative skills.  While the position is based in CA, the incumbent will have a dual reporting relationship with the Controller and the Human Resources Manager in NH.  Limited travel to NH may be required.  Responsibilities include the following: 

 Accounting (80% of time)Performs monthly closingReconciles bank and G/L accountsPrepares projections and cash flowsMaintains petty cashCoordinates the annual budget for the CA office.Serves as the financial liaison between CA office and headquarters personnel.Enters data into Oracle

 Human Resources (20% of time)Communicates with headquarters to obtain timely answers to employees? HR-related questions.Provides support to headquarters on recruitment activities.Prepares appropriate paperwork and conducts in-processing or out-processing of employees. Submits accident reports to headquarters for workers? compensation claims.Maintains bulletin boards including legally required postings.Organizes employee activities.May enter and update data in an HRIS.

 QualificationsAssociates degree and 4-6 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.Professional appearance and demeanor.Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.Ability to prioritize multiple projects and work independently.Excellent organizational and written/verbal communication skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office and QuickBooks or Peachtree software.Experience with Oracle is a plus.
