Financial Analyst 5/6

Mission System Sector Staff is looking for a Financial Analyst.  Candidate should be experienced in reporting, planning and analyzing the balance sheet and income statement.  Familiarity with general ledger accounting is essential and experience with Hyperion Financial Management system is highly preferred.  Candidate will be a key contributor to a team responsible for the month-end-close,  the rolling forecast and the annual financial/strategic and related briefings to the Controller on the balance sheet and income statement.  In addition, the candidate will coordinate with corporate and division finance personnel on financial reporting, planning and financial systems.  Candidate will support cash flow analysis and forecasting and assist in responding to periodic requests from internal/external auditors.  Responsibilities will include support to Sector Management ad hoc requests and special projects.



Experience in the following required:
Comprehensive knowledge of balance sheet, P&L and general ledger accounting
Experience with financial reporting systems
Minimum 8 years in business management
Must be able to facilitate sector/division/corporate communication and coordination

Experience in the following an asset:
Experience with SAP, Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) and /or Hyperion Planning a significant plus
Knowledge of NG Accounting
Previous supervisory experience
MBA/CPA desirable
Knowledge of Mission Systems and/or industry
Understanding of SOx
