Financial Analyst - Entry Level

Responsibilities

 Complete monthly inventory, receivable and accrual account reconciliation to the general ledger. Conduct reporting, analysis, and audits of vendor purchases and returns. Work in conjunction with other areas to correct system errors, conduct audits, and report stock offers. Post adjustments and transfers to Gross Margin and Accounts Payable systems. Prepare monthly Gross Margin and product line reporting packages. Participate in special projects and ad hoc reporting as assigned.

 

Qualifications

 Bachelor?s degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent work experience. One to three years related analytical, retail or accounting experience. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel and Access; AS400, Lawson and mainframe experience a plus. Demonstrated ability to multi-task, work well under pressure and manage time to meet deadlines Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Demonstrated organization and prioritization skills. Outstanding work ethic and a commitment to excellence. Ability to add value to a project team by acting as a contributing member.
