If you are an outgoing, assertive financial professional with a desire to use your skills in a new way, consider a career as a Financial Analyst in the healthcare insurance industry. In this role, you would determine the success of various health plans while managing regulatory and statutory issues. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic team as part of an established industry leader.
Primary responsibilities include:
Managing regulatory and statutory issues
Performing monthly close and reporting duties
Completing quarterly and annual statutory filing, annual audits and audit reports
Working with account reconciliations
Participating in special projects and ad hoc reports as needed
Previous financial analysis experience is essential to this role, and account reconciliation/audit knowledge is needed. Prior experience in a regulated environment will be valuable, and Big 4 experience is a plus. A background in healthcare is a plus. Computer proficiency is necessary, and financial software experience is ideal. A Bachelor’s degree is required; Master’s is preferred. CPAs are encouraged to apply.
