Financial Analyst / General Accountant (E-Z-GO, Textron)

Job Summary:

Financial Analyst/General Accountants support and liaison with Shared Services for Accounts Receivable and Payable to resolve invoice issues with E-Z-GO and Shared Services personnel.

 

Responsibilities to Include:

?Perform monthly Accounts Receivable review with collections personnel to ensure adequacy of the bad debt reserve.

?Assist the Indirect Supplies Purchasing Team with the automated purchasing platform to resolve issues, maintain and monitor the database to ensure intregrity of the data posted to the General Ledger.

?Maintenance and monitoring Purchasing Card transactions and activities.

?Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting to include budgeting, forecasting, Annual Operating Plan, year-end work papers, and gross margin analysis.

?Prepare financial analysis that identify root causes for variances to Plan/Forecast and identify corrective actions.

?Prepare closing entries and reconciliation of various general ledger accounts.

 

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.

 

Position Requirements:

1) Minimum of three to five years of experience in the area of finance. Preferably in a manufacturing environment.

2) Strong exposure to general ledger accounting and reconciliations.

3) Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task is essential.

4) Ability to write reports and effectively present information and respond to questions from groups or managers, etc.

5) Excellent computer skills and Microsoft Office Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access expertise required; experience working with ERP software such SAP or Oracle.

7) Proficient with data mining software packages such as Hyperion or Cognos products.

8) Ability to work well independently, in groups and across all functional and managerial levels.
