Financial Analyst - High Growth in Billion Dollar company

Financial Analyst   My California client, a world leader in its market space, is looking for a Manufacturing Financial Analyst to join the 1000+ person manufacturing team at its modern and efficient processing facility near Bakersfield, in California?s San Joaquin Valley. This is an expansion role and is a permanent, full-time, ?hands-on? position in a strong team-based environment.

Responsibilities:

- Independently analyze commodities that are under contract to identify "meet compliance" or resource opportunities.

Support analysis of and implementation for deals and projects, including development of metrics, analysis of spend, and compliance reporting to company wide initiatives, etc.
- Develop a thorough understanding of the business and relationships with the divisions.
- Gather data for total landed cost models, run cost analyses and analyze current sourcing in order to optimize the savings potential.

- Able to process all cost transactions including COS, scrap, material usage, PPV, cycle count, obsolescence, LIFO/FIFO valuation, etc
- Able to develop and maintain standard costs. 
- Well versed in integrated ERP systems and MS office software

Required Experience:

- 2 or more years in high-volume, continuous flow manufacturing environment
- 3 years in a cost accounting role within this manufacturing environment

- Preferred ? experience in a food or CPG environment. 

Required Expertise:

- Strong ERP skills

- Mastery of Excel, PowerPoint, and Access is a MUST
- Strong communication skills
- Able to work in team-based work environment
- Able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Able to work with minimum supervision

Education Required

- BS/BA in Accounting, Finance or business related degree
