Financial Analyst/Homebuilder

Position Duties: Provide financial, business, and operational analysis support to the Florida Region CFO, Senior EVP, and EVP.

? Prepare monthly Regional financial and operational results package
? Provide analytical review of division results:
o Budget vs Actual vs Forecast on P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow
o Cost overage / contingency analysis
o Customer service analysis
o Cycle time analysis
o Gross profit on sales and closings
o Gross margin analysis / improvement
o Weekly backlog review
? Coordinate division budget review
? Prepare reporting package for EVP one-on-one meetings with CEO:
o Inventory Aging / Turnover
o Gross Margins
o Backlog and sales trends
o Material and labor analysis
? Provide analytical support to Division VPs of Finance and Division Presidents as needed
? Review divisional project proformas and submittal packages
? Track land development projects
? Analyze land development budgets and land deposits
? Review homesite forecast and community count projections
? Develop financial and operational measurements / metrics
? Travel to each Florida division (currently 6) once per quarter

Potential Candidates: Manager / Senior Financial Analyst with Corporate or homebuilding experience, Manager / Senior Level public accountant with homebuilding or construction clients.

Requirements:
? Minimum Bachelor?s in Finance or Accounting, MBA or CPA desirable.
? Advanced proficiency in Excel required. Experience with AS/400 and query language.
? Excellent written/oral communication skills and organization skills.
? Ability to think outside the box, self-starter, self-motivated. Able to learn independently.
? Requires minimal supervision.
? Light to medium travel.
