Responsibility Level:

 

Within Johnson Controls Battery and Corporate policies and procedures, under the direction of the Financial Planning Manager is responsible for developing and organizing various computer spreadsheets to be used for Financial Reporting.  Performs various analysis on operating results and supports management in information gathering.  Provides support to other functional areas within the JCI organization.  This position will also receive special assignments and projects from various Financial Accounting Managers.

 

 

Typical Duties:

 

-Developing of spreadsheets through Excel, Hyperion Retrieve and Power Point.

 

-Formatting of Financial reporting spreadsheets so they are ready for use for the current analysis.

-Coordinating the consolidation of the various financial reporting packages.

 

-Provides information and support to financial staff, other Battery functional areas, corporate staff and internal/external audit staff.

-Other duties and projects as assigned by Financial Planning Manager.

 



Requirements:

 

Bachelors degree in Accounting or related discipline

2 years of accounting experience with an emphasis on computer spreadsheets

Proficient in Excel 

 

Working Conditions:

 

Position is in an office environment and may require 2% overnight travel.
