Financial Analyst - SOX/Internal controls

Great opportunity for a well established company in NW Portland.

 

Overview of position:

This position will initially involve taking a lead role in compliance w/ Section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act and will eventually include extensive involvement in the company?s financial reporting and consolidation function.

 

Required Qualifications

* 5+ years Accounting experience

* Knowledge of GAAP

* Advanced knowledge of MS office applications (Excel, Word, Access)

* Ability to prioritize and organize w/ limited supervision.

* Demonstrate professional presence in interactions w/ internal and external clients and communicate effectively and concisely in both verbal and written form.

* Experience in project management, internal control or similar process documentation.

 

Preferred Qualifications

* CPA w/ audit experience from an international public accounting firm and/or publicly traded company.

* SEC reporting experience w/ a publicly traded company

* Exposure to COSO internal control standards and internal audit experience preferred
