Job Description:
Are you looking for the opportunity to work with an innovative, well regarded, and prestigious financial institution? GREENPOINT MORTGAGE, the 5th largest Wholesale Mortgage Lender in the country, is actively recruiting a Financial Analyst in its Treasury department. As the Financial Analyst your primary responsibility will be to support the Cash Desk and settlement process. The responsibilities of this role include: ? Perform wire transfers. ? Manage Treasury mailbox and telephone inquiries. ? Update Empower! for DFT?s, changes in loan status, etc. ? Manage voided check process. ? Support process to manage GPM?s daily cash position. ? Support process to manage cash activities related to Servicing and Parent companies. ? Update the Treasury procedures manual ? coordinate with appropriate Treasury staff to ensure all processes are documented accordingly. ? Support Treasury manager on SOX testing. ? Coordinate documentation exchange between GPM treasury and 3rd party cash management banks. ? Perform other duties as requested.


Essential Skills:
The ideal candidate must have a BS/BA degree in Finance,Accounting or Economics. Minimum 2 years experience of Treasury experience or Accounting experience related to Treasury activities. Strong working knowledge and proficiency of Excel, and Word. Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to multi-task and work under pressure. Ability to work independently and in a team.
