Financial Compliance Manager

We are presently seeking a Manager to work with one of our Houston clients.

 

 

Specific Responsibilities/Activities

Coordinate and supervise daily activities of assigned staff to attain goals and objectives within deadlinesWork with staff and provide guidance as necessary on projects, tasks, issues and deadlinesManage relationship between client and state regulatory bodies by timely and accurately responding to state regulatory requests and inquiriesCoordinate internal preparedness and facilitate regulatory audits with state regulators and third partiesEnsure timely and accurate filing of required monthly, quarterly and annual regulatory reports in each state where client conducts businessAccurately apply trust laws of all states and jurisdictions where client conducts business, in accordance with client Legal interpretation of trust lawsRecommend and implement client processes and proceduresEvaluate the ongoing effectiveness of current operations and systemsResearch complex issues and handle their resolutions Secondary review of monthly, quarterly and annual reportsMake employment decisions, evaluate and reward staff performance, recommend training and development opportunities, and conduct disciplinary activities as necessary Keep manager informed on a consistent basis of new issues and the status of projects, tasks and deadlinesOther duties as assigned





 

Work Experience2-3 years supervisory/management or industry experience Client Service background preferred

 

Educational RequirementsBachelors Degree
