Financial Control Accountant

The Financial Control Accountant prepares weekly and monthly analysis, forecasts and management reports detailing financial activity, designed to ensure accuracy of the General Ledger, Stock Ledger and other subsidiary ledgers. This person prepares and/or reviews accurate and timely account reconciliations and forecasts; identifies and researches variances; and communicates with associates in various departments and divisions to obtain information and resolve issues. The Accountant will also participate in the development of programs designed to increase productivity and improve accuracy of the financial reporting systems. Special projects will be performed as assigned.

Qualified candidates must have good attention to detail skills and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi task are required. Experience with Excel is required. Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting and have 1-2 years of experience in accounting/finance.
