Financial Controls Accountant
Location: Sandpoint, ID




Responsibilities:
Assist in ensuring compliance with Sarbanes Oxley 404 in planning, testing, and reviewing controls.
Assist in follow-up procedures for remediation of ineffective controls.
Work with process owners to flowchart business processes and financial controls; maintain flowcharts as processes and controls change.
Ensure timely recording of results of tests of financial controls.
Analyze financial data as to whether it is in scope for Sarbanes Oxley.
Compile reports and analyze.
Participate in special projects as necessary.



Knowledge and Skills:
Proficiency in Excel applications required.
Proficiency in Flowcharting Software, Microsoft Visio or Smart Draw required.
Ability to work with large volumes of data.
Effective time management skills in a rapidly changing environment.
Team oriented player who can focus on details.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Project management skills.



Qualifications:
Accounting degree required.
Accounting experience preferred.
