Financial Investment Specialist

Works closely with Benefits Analyst and/or Benefits Consultant to ensure tasks associated with technical issues (including systems, legislative, and operations control) are performed in a timely and accurate manner. Executes on the most complex of operational functions and/or recurring special project work. Assists with the management of the production operations calendar and or special projects tracking logs. Executes the most complex research and completion of client, participant and employee requests, and creates complex reports to meet client and internal needs. May be responsible for managing open case activity to ensure timely closure and trends. Develops and maintains documentation of process flows, administrative summaries, and standard operating procedures. Assists in the definition, development and maintenance of project and system requirements, technical specifications, and test plans. Work with other internal groups to prepare test plans to support technical infrastructure testing, data interfaces in/out of the system, employee communications, employee tools (IVR, web, account inquiry screens and/or PeopleSoft), and client reporting. Write/execute queries to retrieve/manage data, and prepare/edit jobs to analyze data. Provides general support and technical training to the Benefits Administrator, Benefits Specialist, and Benefits Analyst. Responsible for assisting in the training and development of all staff. Supports team with complex systems or service delivery issues, enhancements, and/or bugs.Supervises daily activities of up to 3 team members and provides feedback to Service Delivery/Implementation/Operations Lead or Service Delivery/Implementation/Operations Manager. May develop working relationships with the client, third party vendors and/or ancillary service providers and other internal parties to ensure seamless delivery on specific tasks, special projects and/or participant issues. Owns processes and identifies and assists in the execution of improvement opportunities. Assists Benefits Consultant and Operations Lead/Manager in working with the implementation group to ensure transition of processes for new or existing clients or new products occurs seamlessly.

EDUCATION

Bachelor?s Degree with strong academic record2 -5 years experience in plan administrationKnowledge of legislative issues affecting plansStrong analytical abilitySQL skillsExcellent verbal and written communications skillsProject management skills including the ability to juggle projects and manage to deadlines
