We are looking for a Tax Manager with hedge fund tax experience.? Tax Managers use their expertise in accounting and taxation to provide compliance and consulting services to corporate and individual clients. They must be familiar with the tax consulting process and the professionalism necessary for the
effective diagnosis, solution, development and implementation of clients' tax needs. You'll have the opportunity to develop and pursue creative strategies while using the latest technologies. As a Tax manager in our Financial Services Industries practice, you will be offering day-to-day management of accounts through delivering all tax consulting services to the client and bringing in other firm specialist when necessary. Your? primary responsibilities include oversee complex tax research projects for clients; participate in engagements requiring tax analysis for a variety of entities and their affiliates;? research and analyze a wide range of tax issues such as deferred tax liability issues and tax implications of financing techniques; you may assume tax-planning responsibilities for our corporate and individual clients. Tax Managers supervise assignments by the professional accountants serving as Tax Consultants and Seniors. They have responsibility for the development and motivation of engagement staff
and provide them with leadership, counseling and career guidance. They have proven, extensive technical expertise and have developed their reputation in a given industry/service line.?

Located in the Center City Philadelphia Office of Deloitte Tax is seeking Tax Senior Managers and Managers for the Regulated Investment Company (RIC) component of its Investment Management practice. As a member of our RIC tax practice, you will be
responsible for managing multiple client relationships and for leading and directing seniors and staff on our client engagements.? You will also be responsible for research and consulting on a variety of issues as well as compliance including reviewing tax returns, tax provisions and distribution analyses.
Qualifications:
? Bachelor's degree in accounting
? Minimum five years of related experience in industry or public accounting
? Passed all parts of CPA exam
