Job Description -- Our Advisory Services practice provides comprehensive financial, economic and strategic advice to companies with complex business problems. Within Advisory Services, the Dispute Analysis & Investigation ("DA&I") practice provides a broad range of consulting and forensic accounting services to attorneys and other parties involved in litigation, arbitration or mediation and other alternative dispute resolution forums, as well as fraud investigations. Specialty practice areas include breach of contract claims, business interruption, investigation services, intellectual property disputes, construction disputes, securities fraud, economic and financial analysis, licensing management, and insurance claims services.

The Forensic Technology Solutions ("FTS") practice within DA&I gathers, interprets, and analyzes massive volumes of data and applies financial, statistical, accounting, and computer forensics skills to provide cost-effective, proactive strategies and solutions to complex business problems. In addition, we provide quantitative analytic solutions in instances where facts are at issue and the answers are buried in voluminous, complex collections of transactional data. We do so by developing the information management systems which allow our clients to manage that data so they can rely upon it to make informed decisions.

As a part of a global network of professionals with extensive licensing management experience, FTS in San Francisco is a leader in providing the technical knowledge and foundation necessary to meet the demands of our high-tech Bay Area licensing clients. We serve clients in both the software and hardware industry by resolving the technical issues which typically arise in software and hardware audits?this includes the need to investigate networks and understand the complexities of software deployment models.

Bachelors Degree required. Educational background in computer science or MIS is required. Strong interpersonal and analytical skills are needed.

Travel Requirements:
Extensive travel within and outside the United States is often required; incoming professionals should expect at least 50% travel. Many FTS engagements occur with little advance notice and are of indeterminate duration, requiring significant flexibility on behalf of our consultants.

Job Requirement Essential

2-5 years of experience providing technology consulting services focusing on systems administration, network administration, asset management, and/or Web application administration in a Big 4 or equivalent consulting environment.

Educational background in computer science, MIS. Experience with any of the following is beneficial: NMap, MS SMS, WebLogic Server, Tuxedo, IBM Tivoli, CA Unicenter, Unix, or Linux.
