Fund Accountant -- Hedge Fund of Funds

~ Responsible for general ledger accounting and financial reporting for four limited partnerships.
~ Responsible for reconciling the monthly net asset value of the funds, reconciling the general ledger to subsidiary ledgers and reconciling transactions related to dividends and interest, capital draw downs and portfolio purchases and sales.
~ Additional responsibilities include reviewing bank reconciliations, cash and income projections, attribution analysis as well as reviewing financial statements and Board of Directors' reports.
~ Will also interact with the fund administrator and investee funds on a regular basis.
~Other responsibilities may include performing internal control functions and participating in special projects, such as due diligence meetings, assessment of valuation procedures, planning and assessing the impact of new tax initiatives on the funds and after tax fund performance reporting.
~ Will report directly to our CFO and work within a small, growing business.

Requirements:
~BS / BA in Accounting required
~2-4 years Fund Accounting experience
~Experience accounting for income accruals
~Experience with subscriptions and redemptions
~Experience in fund budgeting
~Ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
