Fund Administrator

* MUST WORK 9:30am-6:00pm SHIFT *
The Fund Administrator is responsible for assisting the Fund Liaisons in maintaining existing relationships established by the Fund Liaisons, with various investment product sponsors (i.e. mutual fund companies, insurance companies, banks, etc.) This position is responsible for providing support to the NTF funds, internal communications with the fund families listed on the DATAlynx, TRUSTlynx or IMS (further referred to as the Platforms) Fund Universe and helping out with coordinating marketing efforts of investment sponsors. In addition, the Fund Administrator is responsible for adding new mutual fund families and new funds for existing fund families to the Lynx Operations back office system (BOSS). This includes maintaining fund parameters for existing funds on BOSS when notified of changes.


Job Qualifications

The Fund Administrator needs to have a thorough understanding of the mutual fund industry.
Knowledge of the Platforms and Fiserv ISS policies and procedures relating to mutual funds.
Knowledge of the procedures in internal and external trading and quality control is essential. Knowledge of mutual funds and their share class differences, etc. is essential. Knowledge of investment advisory marketplace dynamics is strongly desired.
The Fund Administrator must possess excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), organization, and problem solving skills in order to convey information and complex business practices to both internal and external entities at a variety of levels.
This position requires an individual who can function independently with minimal or no direction. This individual must display a high degree of judgment and self-motivation. Must possess strong conceptual, organization and analytical abilities. Must demonstrate the ability to make quick decisions, solve complex problems quickly and possess mental capability to communicate and work with employees, institutional customers, and sponsor marketing/sales teams, management, and legal staff.



Education / Experience

High School or GED required.
Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
Must have at least three (3) years financial services experience and/or two (2) years of Lynx Operations experience.
Experience with fee-based investment advisors, third party administrators, or institutional customer service experience is highly desirable.
