General Accounting/Treasury Manager

Sensus Metering Systems, a leading worldwide provider of water, gas, and electric meters; clamp and coupling products; and Automated Meter Reading (AMR) systems has an immediate opening for a General Accounting/Treasury Manager in Uniontown, Pennsylvania.

 

The General Accounting/Treasury Manager will accurately account for, reconcile and explain balance sheet entries for the shared accounting functions of our water, gas and electric metering systems businesses.  In addition, this position will maintain the archive system for accounting, order entry and payroll reports and documents; prepare detailed monthly spending statements for each facility/location; assist in the coordination of the monthly closing process to insure that it is completed timely and all interfaces, reports and queries are correct; administer the financial data interface to the general ledger; record and reconcile all inter-company activities including the payment of invoices and resolution of disputed items; maintain the treasury functions and cash management processes working closely with Headquarters.

 

This position requires a Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance with a minimum of 2 to 5 years of financial accounting/treasury experience in a manufacturing environment and the ability to exercise analytical judgment in handling assigned duties. Candidates must have excellent interpersonal and communications skills and strong computer and accounting/business systems and software capabilities.
