General Ledger/Payroll Accountant ? Roseville, MN

 

Doherty Career Solutions has partnered with an innovative manufacturing company to search for a G/L Payroll Accountant to work at their Roseville facility.  The G/L Accountant will be responsible for all G/L Accounting and Payroll for 300 employees. This position also requires a clear understanding of the establishment of opening balances as well as the linkage of financial statements.

 

Responsibilities:

 Responsible for payroll of 300 people.Accountable for all GL accounting.Use Excel spreadsheets on a regular basis. Run ADP payroll software.Operation in an environment where some job duties may vary daily.

 

Experience:

 2 year Associates degree in Accounting or equivalent experience required.Skilled in Microsoft Word and Excel.Must be able to work well under pressure.Ability to work independently.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Willingness to be flexible in terms of job responsibilities.
