AP Accountant, Vendor Maintenance (Temporary) - Mountain View



This is a temporary role offered through WorkforceLogic.

This position is based in Mountain View, CA.

The AP Accountant will work in a team environment within the Corporate Finance Department, reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager. Your primary responsibilities will include vendor set-up and supplier database maintenance.

Responsibilities:

Set up vendors in Oracle 11i accounting system.
Set up related vendor banking information for ACH and Wire payment.
Set up vendors with foreign currency payment requirements.
Update vendor information as necessary.
Maintain vendor database to include merging like vendors, verifying vendor tax reporting status.
Assist with 1099 database clean up and creation of annual 1099's.
Handle vendor and internal customer calls and emails and provide timely and accurate response to all related vendor setup and database inquiries.
Maintain good relationship with all vendors and internal customers.
Collect required vendor Banking Set-up forms.

Requirements:


Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent experience.
3-5 years Accounts Payable and Vendor Maintenance experience.
Experience in high volume vendor set-up and maintenance.
Oracle Financials experience (11i required).
Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Definite ream player.
Dedicated self-starter, organized, thorough and can multi-task.
