Grants Policy Management Specialist

Key Role: Complete federal grants fiscal analysis by applying full grants management lifecycle knowledge, including policies, processes, systems, and forms. Implement expertise gained from a federal grant-making organization. Apply knowledge of federal grants streamlining initiatives, including grants gov. and PL 106-107. Demonstrate strength in indirect cost rate agreements, federally required audits, grants monitoring visits, cost allocation plans, and grants closeout. Provide program management, including the application of federal grant guidelines and relevant CFR's and OMB circulars.



Functional/Industry Knowledge:


-2-5 years of experience in grants accounting, financial management, auditing, and working directly with federal grant guidelines and relevant CFRs and OMB circulars


-Knowledge of the full grants management lifecycle process


-Experience with indirect cost rate agreements, federally required audits, grants monitoring visits, cost allocation plans, and grants closeout


-Possession of excellent organizational, client management, and analytical skills


-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills


-Ability to perform outstanding teamwork


 


Education/Certifications or equivalent required:


BA or BS degree in Accounting required


CPA a plus
